FOUNDER OF SKYN KOREAN SKINCARE STUDIO
Devyn is a Lexington native and graduated Katharos School of Aesthetics, receiving her aesthetics license in 2022. During school is where she discovered her passion for the skin and its anatomy + health. After graduating, she quickly learned that the skincare industry in the United States has far too much room for improvement. With other regions, such as South Korea far surpassing as the US FDA remains behind in cosmetic ingredient approval, prohibition + innovation. As Devyn’s grandparents had lived in Thailand, she had already become familiar and held such high regard for Eastern skincare approaches, leading her to the path of creating Skyn Korean Skincare Studio - Lexington, Kentucky’s first-ever clinical Korean skincare studio where you will find quality skincare imported from South Korea and innovative skin treatments designed to work with the skin, and not against it. Skyn is a space designated to treat, help, guide and teach others how to care for the human body’s largest, outermost organ that is designed to protect us.

I was born and raised in the countryside of South Korea and came to the states by myself to explore opportunities when I was 26.
I believe that the personal pursuit of beauty should be experienced like a journey or a friendship.
